Publication Date: May 1st 2012 by Simon & Schuster

After her brother’s death, a teen struggles to rediscover love and find redemption in this gripping novel.

Growing up in Africa and Latin America as the children of missionaries, London and Zach were as close as could be. And then Zach dies, and the family is gutted. London’s father is distant. Her mother won’t speak. The days are filled with what-ifs and whispers: Did Zach take his own life? Was it London’s fault?

Alone and adrift, London finds herself torn between her brother’s best friend and the handsome new boy in town as she struggles to find herself—and ultimately redemption—in this authentic and affecting novel from award-winning novelist Carol Lynch Williams.

This sounds really, really good. And I’ve heard great things about this author.

This looks interesting. Great pick! You totally SHOULD read the Raised by Wolves series. It’s AMAZING!!! The lead character is terrific. She’s a normal human, and she still kicks butt better than the supernatural men. She isn’t some weak pansy. She stands on her own. Very refreshing! And the plots are fantastic. Barnes is a great author.

I haven’t heard of this author before, but I’ve seen this book around and it looks like quite an emotional read. Also intriguing that there seems to be a mystery in how/the circumstances that Zach died too (I love the mysteries most of all, even if it’s just a thin thread through the book) :D

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog – sorry it’s taken me awhile to reply back! :)
